OGH welcomes new chief nursing officer

Olean General Hospital announced the appointment of Vi-Anne Antrum, RN, NEA-BC, FACHE, as chief nursing officer.

In her position, Antrum will oversee all aspects of the hospital’s nursing division. She comes to OGH with nearly 20 years of nursing experience, which includes time as a staff nurse to her most recent post as chief nursing officer at Buffalo General Medical Center and Gates Vascular Institute in Buffalo.

“We are pleased to welcome Vi-Anne to Olean General Hospital. She brings years of managerial, clinical and leadership experience which will undoubtedly benefit our hospital and, most importantly, our patients,” said Jeff Zewe, senior vice president, chief operating officer, OGH.

After earning an associate’s degree in nursing at Onondaga Community College, Antrum earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing at Daemen College and an MBA and MSN from the University of Phoenix. She is currently enrolled at Thomas Edison State University where she plans to earn a doctor of nurse practice degree in 2018.

She is board certified as a nurse executive, advanced, is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, and a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives and American College of Healthcare Executives.
