Surgical Services

The Francis J. Ryan Surgical Center was totally renovated and opened for service in February of 2001. The center consists of five surgical suites and one cystoscopy suite. Our ambulatory surgery and outpatient area is adjacent to the surgery department and contains 14 stretcher bays and three outpatient infusion bays. The post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) contains 7 stretcher bays and one negative pressure isolation room. We provide surgical care for all age groups, from pediatrics through geriatrics.

Procedures performed in the surgical center cover many specialties: ear, nose, and throat (ENT), orthopedics, urology, vascular, ophthalmology, thoracic, gynecology, podiatry, and general surgery. We are fortunate to have excellent surgeons in all categories. Along with the excellent surgeons, we have a designated anesthesia group consisting of five anesthesiologists and one CRNA.

The operating room, post-anesthesia, and ambulatory surgery staff are committed to quality patient care and we look forward to making your surgical experience a positive one.
