A full range of evaluation, treatment, education and prevention services are offered in a variety of specialty areas such as Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Industrial Rehabilitation and Speech Therapy.

A highly-qualified staff of physical therapists, occupational therapists and assistants utilize the newest techniques and equipment to support patient recovery. Our patients, especially those who have recently had a stroke, athletic injury, or joint surgery, benefit from our wide range of services.

Recently, the OGH Outpatient Rehab Department began implementing anodyne therapy, a near-infrared light device that assists problems with limbs, particularly imbalance and lack of coordination caused by ailments such as diabetes. The Hospital also added a Baltimore Therapeutic Equipment (BTE) work simulator to measure endurance, oxygen intake and heart rate of individuals during simulated work tasks. The professional occupational therapists at the Hospital also utilize the Biodex Isokinetic system which assists with the evaluation of muscle function.
