I'm suffering from:

Olean General Hospital now offers an Immediate Treatment Center

What is an Immediate Treatment Center (ITC)? OGH’s Immediate Treatment Center is for patients whose problems need treatment but are not emergent, such as lumps, bumps, sore throats, sprains, fractures, allergic reactions, lacerations, a cold, the flu, or some other minor condition.

When is the ITC available? The OGH Immediate Treatment Center is for patients whose condition isn’t serious enough to need our regular emergency department. The ITC is open everyday from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Outside of these hours, OGH will continue to offer our 24-hour physician-staffed emergency department to treat any and all emergency needs, but during the ITC hours we can guarantee faster turnaround times and separate care facilities for ITC patients.

What should I expect when I visit the ITC? Because our ITC is located within our Emergency Department, you will be met by a friendly greeter immediately upon entering the door, and will meet with our Triage nurse directly after that. If the Triage nurse feels your condition warrants ITC treatment instead of emergency care, you will be directed to the ITC area, where a physician will treat you and help you on your way within 90 minutes!

How long will it take? Because of the noncritical nature of ITC patient needs, coupled with the advanced training of our physicians, nurses, and staff, and our continued commitment to quality, every patient will be treated and ready to go in 90 minutes or less!
