Sleep Disorder Center at Olean General Hospital

The Sleep Disorder Center is located in the Hampton Inn in Olean, and utilizes all the comfort and amenities of a first-class hotel stay, coupled with the state-of-the art equipment, trained technicians, and board-certified sleep physician for a best-in-class sleep study.

Traditionally, sleep centers are located in hospital settings, making it harder for patients to replicate their usual sleep patterns, thereby making it harder for the sleep study to show proper results. At the Olean General Hospital Sleep Disorder Center, patients are more like guests, enjoying the full comfort of a hotel stay, including luxury beds, linens, and in-room cable and movies. Because the rooms are designed for enjoyment and peaceful rest, patients are more at ease and more likely to fall asleep, a stage necessary to obtain quality data.

Sleep Center Staff

Sleep Technicians & Technologists
The Sleep Technicians and Technologists work with each patient to explain the procedures used in a sleep study, to answer questions, and to hook patients up to the tiny wire leads that measure brain waves, heart rate, and various other activities throughout the study.

Medical Director
Eric TenBroeck, M.D. serves as the Sleep Disorder Center's Medical Director. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Sleep Medicine and has been a member of the Olean General Hospital medical staff for several years.
