OLEAN GENERAL HOSPITAL ANNOUNCES FIRST BABY OF 2011

Olean General Hospital (OGH) today announced the arrival of the first baby of the New Year. Zander Elliott Johnson arrived at 3:15 p.m. on January 1, 2011.
“I wish to personally welcome Zander Johnson, the first baby to be born in 2011 at Olean General Hospital,” said Timothy J. Finan, president and CEO of Upper Allegheny Health System and member hospitals Bradford Regional Medical Center and Olean General Hospital. “It is truly an honor to serve his family and provide health care to approximately 750 newborns each year at Olean General Hospital.”
The first son of Mary Marble and John Johnson from Wellsville, New York weighs 6 pounds, 14 ounces and measures 20 inches. He was delivered by Robin Aftuck, a Certified Nurse Midwife.
To honor the significance of the baby’s arrival in the New Year, Olean General Hospital’s Labor and Delivery Department presented the family with a special gift basket of baby items.
