Katie Krawczyk Appointed Vice President of Marketing and Communications

Katie Krawczyk has been appointed Upper Allegheny Health System’s new Vice President of Marketing and Communications. She assumed her responsibilities December 8, 2010. Katie comes to Upper Allegheny Health System from Empire State Development, where she was the Upstate Director of Public Affairs. In this position, Katie was the chief spokesperson on economic development activities and projects throughout Upstate New York. Prior to Empire State Development, she was the Communications and Public Relations Specialist and Director of Operations for the Buffalo Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Katie also worked for the United States Chamber of Commerce and held the position of Manager, Program and Membership for the U.S.-Korea Business Council in Washington, DC.
Katie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Affairs with a concentration in Public Policy from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana and attended Ithaca College where she received her certification in Strategic Communication Management.
