Please Support our Campaign for the Expansion & Renovation of the Obstetrical Unit & Nursery
It’s a girl…… it’s a boy…….. there are two…….. oh my, there are three! Ten fingers and ten toes and as the news spreads, the celebration begins for this new life!
One of the greatest gifts we can give these new babies and their family is a beautiful modern place to be born and cared for in their first days. The present nursery and obstetrical unit is 20 years old and showing wear. Since the unit’s last renovation, nearly 15,000 babies have been born here at Olean General Hospital. With so many babies, we have outgrown the current nursery and the need for additional space is critical.
In response to this, Olean General Hospital is launching a Campaign for the Expansion and Renovation of our Obstetrical Unit & Nursery. This will include:
- Expansion & renovation of nursery to allow for increased volumes and more privacy for special procedures
- New finishes in patient rooms and corridors
- New patient beds & new comfortable furniture with coordinating fabric
- Modernized nursing stations
- Comfortable family waiting room
As evidence of the strong commitment to the revitalization of the nursery and obstetrical unit, each physician listed on this letter has made a financial commitment to this important cause. Additionally, our employees have committed $70,000 for this project. The total cost of the project will exceed $500,000.
Your gift to the annual campaign this year will make a real difference for our littlest patients – our newborns, our future.
Special Note: Gifts of $1,000 also entitle membership into our new prestigious Heartbeat Society. A monthly automatic withdrawal system is available for all gifts.
